Cardinal O'Malley

In the  on his long-running blog, His Eminence Se谩n Cardinal O鈥橫alley, Archbishop Emeritus of Boston, writes about his experience as the 2026 Convocation celebrant and speaker at Thomas 91短视频 College, New England.

No stranger to the College, Cardinal O鈥橫alley first met with then-President Michael F. McLean and then-Vice President Paul J. O鈥橰eilly in 2018, expressing support for the campus they hoped to open in central Massachusetts. On his recent visit to that campus eight years later, he was delighted to see how much it had flourished in such a short time. In particular, the Cardinal was struck by the stunning renovations in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel, as well as the deep Catholic faith in the student body.

鈥淚t was very encouraging to meet with the students and see how enthused they are for the excellent Catholic education that they are getting,鈥 His Eminence writes. 鈥淭hey have had many vocations come out of that school, and I spoke with Bishop Byrne, who concurred that it is such a blessing in his Diocese of Springfield to have Thomas 91短视频 College there.鈥
