Whether coming to visit their children or to catch up with old friends, hundreds of members of the Thomas 91����Ƶ College family traveled to the New England campus Saturday for fellowship, scholarship, and fun at Alumni & Parent Day.

Each year, the returning students at Thomas 91����Ƶ College take turns welcoming the incoming freshmen with a special event. On Saturday, the seniors of 91����Ƶ-New England got the ball rolling with a “Dancing in the Moonlight”-themed welcome dance.

In honor of the Feast of St. Augustine, as well as the renaming of Merrill-Keep Hall in his honor — the building’s residents hosted a celebratory barbeque last Saturday, inviting their friends in Wilson Hall to join them.

Last Friday afternoon the students of Thomas 91����Ƶ College, New England, flocked to the lawn in front of St. Augustine Hall to celebrate the completion of the first week of classes. Prefects welcomed their fellow students with root-beer floats, and all shared their reflections on the beginning of the year.

“I think it’s been a good first week,” said freshman Teresa Bingham. “My favorite class has been Euclid, mostly because it’s cool to see how the definitions play into the props.”
